Academic Profiles

I am a scientist at the Science and Technology Institute (STI) of the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) since 2025. Previously, I was a research scientist at Eureka Scientific supported by NASA grants (2022–2025), a research fellow at the University of Michigan (2019–2021), and a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (2015–2018). My current research focuses on the observational and theoretical studies of ionized nebulae and active galactic nuclei.

Using integral field spectroscopy, I studied the physical conditions and chemical abundances of ionized nebulae during my PhD project at Macquarie University from 2010 to 2014. I also investigated nonlinear properties of electron-acoustic waves using numerical techniques during my MSc project at Queen’s University Belfast in 2009. As an early-stage researcher at the University of Craiova in 2008, I studied BRST formalism in topological BF theory and dual linearized gravity.
