Academic Profiles

I am an Astrophysicist (PI) at Eureka Scientific, Inc. supported by NASA grants from 2022. I was a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from 2019 until 2021, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics from 2015 until 2018. My current research focuses on the observational and theoretical studies of ionized nebulae and active galactic nuclei.

Using integral field spectroscopy, I studied the physical conditions and chemical abundances of ionized nebulae during my PhD project at Macquarie University from 2010 to 2014. I investigated nonlinear effects of suprethermal hot electrons on electron-acoustic solitary waves using numerical techniques during my MSc project at Queen’s University Belfast in 2009. As an early-stage researcher at the University of Craiova in 2008, I studied BRST gauge coupling between dual linearized gravity and topological background fields.
